Abstract

From ancient wisdom traditions to modern science, we hear of the interconnectedness of all things. Buddhism brings the concept of Dependent Origination, the understanding that there is no thing that exists independently from other things. Hinduism speaks of Purusha, the animating life force that connects us all. For the last 100 years scientists have marveled at the interconnections suggested by quantum physics, and many of us have experienced moments of transcendence when we know this connection subjectively. This body of watercolors is an expression of the threads of interconnection, within, among, and between.
