This historic pier in Burlington, Vermont, has recently been renovated, and these warehouses and shops are no longer standing, but Perkins Pier is still a thriving ferry dock for cars crossing Lake Champlain. It is a lovely area for walking, biking, fishing, and gazing across the lake to the mountains of Upstate New York.
