The bell tower of Burlington's First Congregational Church is unique in all the United States. This replica of a monument to choral music from Athens, Greece in the third century BCE became a 19th century architectural inspiration in England and the U.S., but this is the only church to choose it for a bell tower.

Amanda Amend captures the mystery behind the everyday in luminous watercolor.
