I am grateful to modern architecture that relates to the historic buildings around it, and what better way than this? Here, the historic Wells Richardson block on College Street is reflected in the mirrors above Bistro de Margot at 126 College Street. As I was taking reference photos a cyclist stopped and apologized profusely for "getting in the way." Actually, I was waiting for exactly that touch, and I asked him if he'd mind being in my painting.
